A weekend in Toronto

I stumbled across a few scenes in downtown Toronto the other weekend.  First, a protest calling for support for the Egyptian Revolution at Yonge & Dundas Square.  A few streets over, pedestrians were walking through a steamy sewer grate, and finally I came across a crowd standing by a man laying in the middle of traffic on King St, apparently hit by a car.

TORONTO, Ont. (21/01/12) - Nadim Fetiah leads a passionate “call and response” during Global Day of Support for the Egyptian Revolution, at Yonge and Dundas Square in Downtown Toronto.  Supporters gathered to show their solidarity and support of the Egyptian revolution and condemn the actions of SCAF (Supreme Council of Armed Forces), believed to be orchestrating against the revolution.  Photo by Tom Hicken
