5. Shoot Around It
TORONTO, Ont. (17/10/11) – David, a multimedia artist originally from Hamilton, ON, adds some finishing touches to his chalk drawing on a pathway through St. James Park in Toronto.  David, whose competed piece depicts a shoeless, startled man with the message “Don’t Tread on Me” , lent his artistic abilities to making signage for those participating in Occupy Toronto during its opening weekend.  Photo  by Tom Hicken.

6.  Natural Lighting: Indoor vs Outdoor

BELLEVILLE, Ont. (09/11/2011) - Dave Lepatourel, a retired veteran, has been working out of the Ten Acre Truck Stop for 12 years repairing CB radios for truckers that pass through.  After moving to Ten Acres, Lepatourel noticed a decline in business as the industry shifted from truckers owning their own rigs to driving company trucks and caring less about the upkeep of the vehicles.   Photo by Tom Hicken.



7.  Getting to Know Your Flash


This was a more technical project involving the adjustment of flash settings.



8.  Bounce Flash
BELLEVILLE, Ont. (29/11/11) - Zack Smith, a first year Welding Technology student at Loyalist College proudly sports his moustache for the 2nd annual "Movember" fundraiser, set in November to raise funds for prostate cancer research.  On November 30th, Zack will show off his “Mo” along with dozens of others Loyalist students during QNet’s Movember Moustache Contest.  Photo by Tom Hicken.
